Welcome!  I've created this website for those who need to find an editor for their writing as well as those seeking writing help or editing resources.

I’m an editorial assistant who works in-house for a publisher of fiction in Toronto. Before entering the world of publishing, I taught English usage and style to undergraduate students at the University of Guelph’s Learning and Writing Centre, the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Business, and Queen’s University’s Faculty of Applied Science.

I also enjoy cycling, cooking, drawing, and climbing. But I do seem to spend an extraordinary amount of my time with words. Since I can’t seem to get enough of words, I created The Word Blog to revel in their rules, their disorderliness, and their astonishing variety. There you’ll find new vocabulary, entries on usage and rules, book recommendations, and more.
